This enables the sprocket to move independently within the inside hub area. This allows infinite adjustment of the cam timing when degreeing in an aftermarket cam, or other cam work that alters timing. Volvo celebrates the seatbelt’s golden anniversary

It was patented by Volvo engineer Nils Bohlin in 1959, but the Swedes magnanimously opened up the tech to other car makers as they saw the real-world safety benefit of seatbelts in all cars. The design was so effective that in Germany the patent registrars listed it in the top eight inventions which have made an impact from 1885 to 1985.

McLaren 12C GT Sprint appears at Auto Zurich
Thu, 07 Nov 2013McLaren confirmed earlier this month that the 12C GT Sprint would cost $316,000, converted from British pounds. On Thursday, we were sent a selection of photos of the new track car by photographer David Kaiser, from a car show in Zurich, Switzerland. According to a McLaren representative at the booth, the 12C GT Sprint pictured is the first production car.
